In today's optical world, there are many mass produced/mass marketed frames with "recognised" labels of dubious quality. Having a fancy "designer" name doesn't always mean quality that matches the price on the tag. For this reason, at Angelo Street Optical, when we are buying frames for our store, regardless of how famous the brand, if the product doesn't clearly demonstrate value for money, we won't stock it !
